It is possible to make a chocolate cake without using butter or eggs and this means that the cake is loaded with healthy fat. The chocolate flavor is also preserved and the frosting is smooth and silk.

Here is a recipe for chocolate cake with avocados.
Cake :

Five tablespoons of dark chocolate cocoa powder
Two teaspoons of baking powder
Three cups of all-purpose flour
Two teaspoons of baking soda
Half teaspoon of kosher salt
Quarter cup of olive oil
Two tablespoons of vanilla extract
Two tablespoons of white vinegar
Two cups of sucanat sugar
Two cups of water
One ripe avocado that is mashed until smooth

Five tablespoons of dark chocolate cocoa powde
One cup of sugar


Preheat your oven to 350 F and grease two round cake pans with flour.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, baking soda and kosher salt.
In another bowl, whisk the olive oil, vinegar, water, avocado and vanilla extract. When well combined, add the sugar.
Combine the flour mixture and the wet mixture and divide between pans.
Bake for around half an hour or more.
Allow the cake to cool in the pans before turning out after fifteen minutes.
On the first cake, pour a layer of frosting on top, and then top with the second layer of cake.
After that, add the remaining frosting on top of the whole cake.
